Introduction:
At first, I was unsure what to expect from this class and wasn’t excited about writing a publication article or how it connected to the course. However, as I worked through the assignments, I began to see its purpose. Resources Digital Environments truly allowed me to explore different ways of sharing information digitally and supporting various learning styles. Writing the article and then using creativity to design a media project made the experience much more meaningful and enjoyable.
Evaluation of Success:
One area of success was the opportunity to be creative while working with clear examples. As a visual learner, examples helped me better understand assignments and organize my ideas. I combined AI-generated visuals and presentations with my own audio/video recordings and collaborated with colleagues to enhance the work.

Building on a previous reflection, I still feel there is room for improvement in providing more examples of corporate implementation within the assignments. At times, I found myself drawing on experiences from my teaching and school counseling background to respond to discussion boards and complete assignments. If I did not have the previous knowledge, I would probably be extremely frustrated
Brief summary and reflection of each assignment:
When I first learned that we had to create a publication outline, I was nervous because I did not think I would be able to explain my innovation plan in a narrative, yet persuasive way. However, the exemplary examples gave me a foundation to start with which allowed me to gather my thoughts together. I also appreciated the feedback with the publication outline because it allowed me to make necessary adjustments to better prepare for the actual draft.
Writing the publication draft initially felt intimidating since I struggled to connect my thoughts with an outline. The provided examples clarified structure and expectations, while reviewing colleagues’ drafts helped me recognize both my strengths and areas for improvement. Collaborating with five others on the feedforward was challenging due to different schedules, but once organized, it proved beneficial. For instance, I corrected APA issues, such as the title and reference page, based on their feedback. Overall, I gained valuable insight into others’ innovation plans and truly enjoyed supporting their success.
I really had fun creating my media project! Again, in the beginning, I was not too sure what direction I wanted to go in but the amble number of examples helped steer me in the right direction. I appreciate the opportunity to work and create this project individually because it would have been challenging working with classmates on a larger, time consuming project with various schedules. With the media project I was able to expand my knowledge with Canva because there were some features, I was not familiar with. Also, being able to discuss my innovation plan aloud built my confidence to be able to speak about it with other people. I shared my media project with my husband who is not in the educational sector, and he enjoyed learning more about my innovation plan. The media project made me proud of my work.
Due to the feedforward and comments from the professor, completing the final draft was simple. Being able to add my article to my eportfolio in a eye-catching fashion helps exemplifies my work. After knowing the criteria for publishing an article, I may give it a try and see what happens.
Reflection of your collaborative discussion group:
The collaborative groups went well, and everyone was flexible and contributed their own thoughts and ideas, not one person did it all. Even with adding an additional body, everything flowed well, and she came in ready to work. The conversations were informative, and I appreciated learning how everyone thinks and processes on various topics. The digital tools we used were Canva, Padlet, Google Docs, and a person in the group was able to create a podcase based on our information.
Summary or Conclusion of course and your learning:
Overall, this class pulled on my writing ability still while being able to be creative and show my personality. Furthermore, these courses highlighted the importance of students having a voice in their work, which fosters a greater sense of confidence.
